STORY

My name is Dasha Romanov and I’m from Colorado. I’m a third-year FIS athlete and up until this season, I skied out of Sun Valley, Idaho. I was recently nominated to the US Ski Team and I am super excited to continue my ski journey next year with the team. My favorite memory in ski racing so far is getting the opportunity to compete at Whistler Cup as my first major international race in Whistler, Canada. Gaining international exposure and racing against so many new competitors there made me more motivated to improve and compete! My favorite discipline is Slalom, and my favorite mountain to race at is Sun Valley - a super technical & difficult hill. 

About me? Well, I love to mountain bike, hike, climb, read, paint, watch sunsets, take naps, and partake in aquatic activities. I’m currently learning to skateboard so that’ll be added to my hobbies soon! My favorite food is dumplings, and I also don’t eat beef! Lastly, I have the best cat in the world :)
