Patrick'S
STORY

Throughout my childhood, I ski raced at Attitash Mountain in New Hampshire, where I developed a love and passion for skiing. As my level of skiing improved and the races became more competitive, I made the decision to attend Burke Mountain Academy in 8th grade.  After graduating in 2015, I was selected to the US Ski Team and I competed in all 4 alpine events for the following two years. In 2017, I began my NCAA career at The University of New Hampshire. As a full time student-athlete, I successfully managed the responsibility of balancing a rigorous race schedule while maintaining a full-time academic load. My time at UNH earned me  recognition as a two-time All-American athlete and Dean’s List student. In May of 2021, I graduated with a degree in Economics from the Peter T. Paul School of Business and Economics.

In the January following graduation, I earned a roster position with Team Global Racing. This past season was our best yet, with 3 Olympic appearances, and over 15 Continental Cup victories and podiums (European Cup and NorAm Cup). Having the privilege to train and compete alongside athletes from around the globe who regularly race in World Cups has given me a unique perspective and ultimately made me a stronger skier.

Last season, I earned myself 3 World Cup starts from numerous strong finishes on the European and North American Cup circuits.  As I result, I am entering the ’22-23 season with a personal best World Rank of 77 in GS. Last year marked the strongest season of my career despite suffering an ankle injury and losing 2 months on snow. This coming year, my goal is to reach top 45 WCSL.

Outside of skiing, I’m an avid golfer, a passionate New England sports fan, and I love to spend my free time on Cape Cod whenever my busy schedule allows.

I am grateful to be a part of World Cup Dreams. I fundamentally believe the mission of World Cup Dreams is emulated through the continued success of our athletes. Long term, I hope to give back and support mission based organizations such as World Cup Dreams so the US can continue to produce the top World Cup skiers.  Personally, I am grateful for your support in helping me achieve my goals and dreams.
