Story
I’m Kyra Dossa, a 20-year-old freestyle aerial skier with a background in competitive gymnastics spanning 16 years. I discovered my passion for aerial skiing at the age of 17, and I took decisive action by relocating from Ohio to pursue my training. While the transition was challenging, it has undeniably been the best decision of my life. After overcoming several injuries, I’ve demonstrated my commitment and resilience by earning a spot on the U.S. National Ski Team. I am currently training full-time with the team and enrolled as a student at the University of Utah. As I head into my first full World Cup ski season, I am proud to join The World Cup Dreams Foundation. Last season, I finished 6th overall in the NORAM tour, 6th at Nationals, and 7th at Junior Worlds. Partnering with the World Cup Dreams Foundation will provide me with essential support for sports career management, financial backing, and mentorship. This collaboration is vital for my success this season and for competing in international events beyond what the team funds. It will cover my training fees, travel expenses, and additional competitive fees outside the World Cup circuit. I am determined to make this season my best yet.
