My name is Bridger Gile. I am from a little town called Aspen and I’m 21 years old. My love for skiing started when I was around 4, My parents would take me out of preschool so we could go rip around the mountain. When I was 6 I was in a Warren Miller film. I remember watching the World Cup races come down Ajax and thinking that was the coolest thing in the world. From that moment on I knew I wanted to be involved in skiing for the rest of my life.
This year will be my third year on the U.S Ski Team and my second year on the B Team. My first year on the Ski team I won the Nor-am Overall, GS, and Aline combined titles.Giving me a start spot in every World Cup. Last year I raced in my first World Cup race in Solden Austria. I raced the full World Cup GS tour after that. I didn't get the results I was looking for, but if it was easy then there would be no fun in trying to accomplish it. My goal for the upcoming season is to be in the top 30 at the end of the year. My ultimate goal for ski racing is to win a globe. We have a good group of guys skiing on the World Cup and breaking onto the World Cup and I hope to be skiing with them for a long time.
