  • Steven Nyman out

    We are bummed to hear that Steven Nyman is out for the season with a torn achilles tendon suffered in a training run crash before the start of the 2011/12 season. He has had surgery and is on the road to recovery already.

    He will be one of the athletes that is supported through his recovery by our Disability Fund.  It will help him with his costs and allow him to focus 100% on his rehab and getting back on his feet.

    We wish him a speedy recovery and all our best!

    You can support this fund directly, with 100% of the donated money going to support injured athletes.  Use the box in our donation section for the Disability Fund. Here

  • Nick Krause

    Read the story of one of our young athletes- Nick Krause who is a new member of the US Ski Team this year.  World Cup Dreams Foundation is helping Nick raise money for his expenses.  Donations can be made through our Donations page and noting that you would like to support his cause.  World Cup Dreams wishes all the athletes best of luck this summer during their prep camps and training off snow.  Check out his article HERE.

Thanks also to our fantastic athletes who joined us in Portland – Alice McKennis, Kevin Francis, Keely Kelleher, Scott Macartney, Laurenne Ross, Leanne Smith, Dane Spencer, Andrew Weibrecht and Jake Zamansky.

And of course, a big thanks to our stellar event committee and volunteers. We could not have had such a wonderful event without you. We’re looking forward to 2011!
